The AWANE Short Term Disability Program will help you and your eligible employees insure a portion of your/their income if you/they should become disabled.

Short-term disability policy benefits are determined by your weekly salary according to the schedule below. Benefits will pay for up to 25 weeks.

All your full time employees can participate in this valuable program on an employee-pay-all basis.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

Employees must work full time (30 or more per week) for eligibility.
Total participation must be no fewer than two employees and must be at least 25% of eligible employees.
Employee-pay-all premium; therefore, benefits treated as “non-taxable” income.
